Would you like to talk?
My name is David and I am a qualified, BACP registered therapist, offering a safe, confidential and non-judgemental online space to explore whatever is causing you difficulty right now.
We all experience times in our lives when things seem overwhelming. Working with a therapist can be an effective way of discovering strengths and resources you already possess, to achieve a recovery that works for you.
We work together in 50-minute, weekly sessions over Zoom. I bring my experience as a therapist, using CBT and humanistic counselling, while you bring your lifetime of expertise on yourself. As our relationship grows, we explore ways of living a more fulfilling life and work towards the goals we agree upon in our first session. Please get in touch to arrange a chat, or explore the website to learn more about me and how I work.
How are you feeling?
There are many reasons why people decide to reach out to a therapist. Perhaps you have been experiencing low moods for a while now and aren’t sure how to get your sparkle back. Maybe stresses and responsibilities have been weighing you down and you don’t feel that you are getting the support you need. It could be that you aren’t really sure what the matter is, but know that you need to talk.
I work with clients who are experiencing a wide range of issues in their lives. A few of the most common presentations are discussed below in detail, but I also regularly work with: addiction, loss/grief, stress management, and many other problems. Whatever is troubling you, I can promise to bring the same warm, non-judgmental approach to our work together.

Depression and Anxiety
Do you feel that you can’t stop worrying about what might happen, or are you experiencing low moods and aren’t sure how to pull yourself out of it?
-
Self-Esteem
Self-care involves taking time to put yourself first and meet your own needs. This can be difficult when you don’t have a great relationship with yourself.

Relationships
Are you having difficulty in forming and maintaining healthy, respectful relationships? How we treat others and how we expect to be treated often comes from our earliest experiences.
